The Art of Giving

“We make a living by what we get but we make a life by what we give.”- Winston Churchill. What you give comes back. What is this giving? Almost everyone in his/her life might have wondered what exactly do we give and what can be considered as giving.

 Lets look at this.

“An act performed without any selfish desire, and  with no expectation of return is a giving. Serving people selflessly.”

When you gift a friend without expecting praise or a return gift. When you wish well to others without expecting them to do it for you. When you perform a task without an expectation of thank you in return. When you pray for others without your own rewards.

Giving is not to receive, perhaps, doing it with conscience of no reward. We know, when we give something with the mindset of not receiving awards for it, universe rewards abundantly. That’s the Law of LIFE, Law of GIVING. Continue reading “The Art of Giving”

Art of Making Money

What would you do, if you win 1,00,000 dollars while reading this post?

80% of us will spend this money in a span of a month. 16% will manage to save mere 1000 dollars. Only 4% will multiply the amount by utilizing the power of their inner genius, Financial Intelligence.

Thousands of people who win lotteries become poor again in no time due to this human behaviour. Majority of us rely on “working for money, instead of money working for us.”

We go to school, get educated, a good pay job, and wait for promotion to make money. We forget to realize, harder we work, more taxes we pay, our expenses rise, luxuries increase with the pay. We buy a car, house with our hard-earned money. That’s how an average person spends money and lives his life, dreading for more and more. Wanting to improve his lifestyle and work hard each day for someone else. We forget to mind our business in this process, business of making money work for us instead of working for money. And often we get trapped in the rat race where we never have enough money because of our spending patterns.

Robert Kiyosaki, author of bestseller, “Rich Dad Poor Dad”, describes how understanding of assets, liabilities, basic investing can ensure to make anybody Rich. Continue reading “Art of Making Money”

Today while meditating inside the park as usual, I imagined going back to the school where I spent my teenage years conquering dreams, making myself self-confident, most importantly overcoming my fears and handling the peer pressure, aggression, fights. My  8th grade-12th grade years not only shaped me positively but also gave me a practical exposure of life which was waiting for me ahead.

Being one of the rare sports overall, average academic student, I always gave a tough competition on field be it cricket, basketball, or my favourite, athletics. I was titled as Superman by my Geography teacher and ‘Bolt’ by one of my classmate. Continue reading “School Teenage days- Story of Peer Pressure, Victory”

How to get Started towards your Dream?

American Novelist, George RR Martin quotes, “A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies, the man who doesn’t read only lives one.”

Books tell you stories, books give you wisdom, and books are your best friends. They lift you, make you smile, give goosebumps, help you regain your emotional side. They provide the emotional shift required to persevere, mental toughness to deal with changes.

“Books are mirrors: You only see in them what you already have inside you.” – Carlos Ruiz, Spanish Novelist. It is true that we are born with umpteen potential. Books provide you ways so that we can awaken our thoughts. We just need to realize and pursue our talents. With practice we keep getting better.

Books provide solutions to all your problems. Whatever we experience or go through has already been experienced, tackled in history. And solutions are in the books of wisdom, books by visionaries, leaders, masters in their field. Whether be it any area, physical, mental, emotional, spiritual health, management. They might not serve you things as on the plate but provide  you ways to deal with things as your nature permits. Continue reading “How to get Started towards your Dream?”

Last 3 weeks Journey, Life is Awesome!

Hi everyone. I wish and pray that each of you reading this post is in good health, wealth, and has a feeling of being successful in your pursuit of life. I will share about my experience today about how to handle a new change and make good habits.

I completed 3 weeks of a new daily routine this 17th Aug. Waking up at 6 am for 80% of these 21 days. Realized how it became a habit now. During meditation I focused on how my life changed emotionally, physically, spiritually in these days. The smaller good actions started bringing effective positive results to me and filled me with happiness.

I reflected on some incidents. To state a few, Dad became so positive with his dealings and suggestions, leadership. Go through this post if you haven’t read my blog from beginningEarly Morning Adventure- 28th July 2016

Be your own Leader

“Write every quote in your journal which inspires you. Make your own thoughts out of them, formulate them, and future will know them as your quotes someday.”

Imagine more than anybody could. Live more than yourself would. Laugh more than your desires fulfilled. Appreciate more than you ever did. Love more than the love stories known. Do more and more such that more is defined by you.

“Why do I race? I am the champion before the race. That’s the belief I go on field that I will chase each one to finish the line.” The faster than light, Usain Bolt said proudly.

Leadership is about expressing our best as human beings. Use that inner leader not just to lift your life but also to elevate the lives of all those around you. It is inspiring people to do their best in their ability. It’s about realizing the potential within self. To be a leader become a self leader first. Awaken that inner born talent. It is not just about motivating or inspiring others. It is about the first step we take to become a better version of ourselves. Continue reading “Be your own Leader”

Silence Speaks the Best!

“When it’s dark enough, you can see the stars. Amidst the darkness, shines the brightest star.”

Its magical when those trees wave back, leaves take a breath, and the birds sing melodiously at the top of the trees.

“It is true that silence speaks.”

Allow that sun, cloud, moon, and rain to talk with you in this serenity. When the surroundings speak. The calmness stills. The quietness fills. Silence is serene. It leaves you at peace.

It is said, “When you have control over your thoughts, you have control over your life.” Everyone is born awesome with powers. We have to just remember them not actually improve on anything else.

Power of Smile, Thanks, Please, and Compliments

You have no idea, how smallest of your gestures can make somebody’s day.

Do not believe it? lets look at it this way.

Suppose every day you make only two different people smile than the usual friends, family. How many smiles are you creating in a month? 60 smiles. How about you go to do this for a year? 720 smiles. And by 10 years, you will be creating more than 7000 people smile. Pure maths. Seems hard? It is not.

Every morning or any time of the day when you are out your house, you will encounter hundreds of new people in your day-to-day life. Most of them being different and strangers. Be it metro, train, road, office, movie hall, sports stadium or even on a 15 mins walk. Continue reading “Power of Smile, Thanks, Please, and Compliments”

New Friend Learning Meditation

Seasons change, thoughts change, and so does people.

The question is, what is this change we are talking about?

The change of welcoming stress, doubts, obstacles, worries, fear, guilt, resentment, anger, hate.
Or change of goodwill, courage, health, forgiveness, love, faith, peace, tranquility?

Change can only be handled by people when we create right circumstances, i.e., adopting the latter emotions.

Five days back, when I observed the trees were cut within a day, those flowers were not there anymore. For first 5 seconds it was hard, painful to think about them. They have been part of my daily morning routine since two weeks in this park.

Then, I thought maybe they were stressed, and now they are rejuvenating into a new life of peace into better version of themselves.

The next minute, I was on bench, about to close my eyes and enter the dreamland of meditation (my medication). Continue reading “New Friend Learning Meditation”

Kids and Childhood Memories

Sunny morning, no clouds, a clear sky, and a vision of hope.

I see twins playing in the park. Their dad helped them too. These kids had no fear. They only knew the word courage. They climbed from one direction to another. Crossed the bridges as if they played toys in their prime wisdom. They climbed the ladder backwards to slide down. And there one of them heard bad from his dad. He listened, then looked away at me smiling. I smiled back amusingly.
